Stamp and Page attend when a young boy falls from a roof of a nearby factory attempting to retrieve some money thrown away by the burglar. Greig investigates when the young boy dies of his injuries, and tries to gather evidence on a cocksure solicitor whose call to the boy's mother subsequently led to his untimely death.
